Richard Koenig psyd
LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST
I am a Peruvian-American queer psychologist based in San Diego, California. I really enjoy working with folks that are feeling stuck, overwhelmed and who find it hard to regulate their emotional world. More specifically, I enjoy working with people living with ADHD, LGBTQIA+ identified folks, and those living with trauma and trauma-related disorders. My therapeutic spaces promote safety, belonging, and curiosity. Identity, power, and privilege are usually at the forefront of my work and I pride myself in offering neurodiverse inclusive and queer-affirming spaces. I provide psychotherapy in both Spanish and English, and enjoy working with BIPOC and Mixed-identified individuals.
